Founders’ Story
Our co-founders Siwat and Susan are both former college athletes who wanted to create a clean-label, thoughtfully-sourced, delicious, functional drink that went beyond hydration. Siwat spent the first few years of his life in the hospital with digestion and gut health issues, undergoing 10 major surgeries before he was 12. His mom’s ginger-based home remedies helped him recover and were the initial inspiration for Recoup. Together, Siwat and Susan created Recoup to have a positive impact on people and the planet.
